Privacy-first software, built deliberately
Cryptiqo is a software effort with a simple conviction: the tools people rely on every day should protect their privacy and security by default — not as an afterthought, and not in exchange for their data.

Development philosophy
How we build
The same four principles guide every product: Security First, Privacy First, Offline by Design and a Zero-Knowledge approach. In engineering terms, that translates into a few consistent commitments.
Clean, modular architecture
Clear separation of concerns and well-defined boundaries make our software easier to reason about, test and secure.
Local-first processing
We keep work on the device wherever feasible, reducing exposure and dependence on external services.
Security-conscious decisions
Every significant technical choice is weighed against its security and privacy implications, and documented.
Transparency
Architecture, security design and threat models are written down so they can be read and assessed, not just asserted.
Security is the starting point
We treat security as a foundational design principle. That means secure defaults, least privilege, a reduced attack surface and deliberate dependency minimization. We describe our security design openly and we avoid exaggerated claims — no “military grade”, no “unhackable”. We make only the statements our documentation supports.
Your data is yours
We collect as little as possible, never track or profile you, and use no advertising networks or behavioural analytics. We design so that your information stays on your device, under your control, and so that — wherever a zero-knowledge approach applies — we are never in a position to read your content in the first place.
The team
A small, focused effort
Cryptiqo is developed by a privacy- and security-minded engineering team building toward a growing family of privacy-first tools, with CardVault as the first product.
